Welcome to the Division Nine Homepage!
Division Nine of the North Central Region serves Washtenaw county, Michigan. We also welcome railroaders from neighboring counties. We hope that you will take the time to experience a meeting and discover the advantages of participating in the NMRA at the division level.
We meet on the first Sunday of most months at 2:30 p.m. at Keller/Williams Reality at 2144 South State Street. Use Exit 177 off I-94 (Briarwood Mall) and go north toward downtown Ann Arbor. Turn west into the parking lot with the entrance to the building on the upper level. (Look for the NMRA sign at reception desk.)

Each meeting features clinics, show-and-tell, and more. To see what is coming up, see our meeting schedule. Check out the photo gallery to see what has been exhibited at our meetings in the past.
Even if you can't make it to our meetings, feel free to participate in other areas on this website. We have a message forum for discussions, links to other resources on the web, a listing of local train shows, and more! We update it's content usually within 1 week of our meetings.
Missing photo galleries Some of you noticed that the photo galleries were not working. Well, what happened was that my old hosting company decided to do an upgrade to the server. This resulted in this site being down all day on Sunday 4/27/08. When it came back up, they had screwed up so much content on the site, that it took me 6 hours to get the site to even show up correctly, and even then, some stuff was broken. This is not the first time this has happened, but it is the first time it wasn't from some change I requested. In light of this, I began looking around for a new hosting company for this and the other websites I manage. The result is that we are now on a new server that has 100 times the storage space and I hope proves to be more stable. I've gotten all of the content back on line and working, except for the galleries. This will take a lot of work to recover everything, and I still have to move all of the rest of my domains before 5/1/08 when my old hosting account terminates. In the meantime, I've removed the links for the photo galleries on the menu. As soon as everything is restored, I'll post an update here and re enable the menu links again. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes anyone. David Simmons Webmaster | Posted by Webmaster on Monday April 28 2008 - 08:30PM | |
